Using local USB and COM ports over VSpace Client?

We are looking in to a nComputing solution, and are considering running the VSpace Client software on existing desktops within our company. Is there a way to allow the VSpace client session to connect to usb and com ports on the local desktop machine?

We plan on running a Windows Multipoint Server (2008 R2) on the server, and Windows XP on the desktop.

Windows Server -> Network -> Windows XP Client -> USB Devices

At this time the vSpace Client software does not support USB redirection, so I do not suspect this will work.

Are there any plans to implement local USB support for thumb drives?

Yes there is plans to support this in the future. I do not have a time frame on it at teh moment.
